SOLID LIGHT FROM SPACE.

I'm sad to hear that OpenAI will be retiring Sora on April 26th.
What I particularly liked about Sora was the elegance of the videos it generated, but above all its hallucinations and algorithmic errors.
I'll miss its six fingers and three legs, which characterized the new dreamlike and surreal aesthetic typical of that type of AI.
Now with Seedance we've reached very high levels, but what will happen to that natural and spontaneous pop-psychedelic aesthetic typical of the machine that freaks out and glitches?
To pay homage to Sora, I created this video, precisely because of those semi-mystical characterizations we'll never see again, using scrap material I'd abandoned in an archive, all generated by Sora himself.
Because of its absurdity, I titled it after that quantum stuff that comes from space: Solid Light from Space.
After countless mixes using my analog sounds and glitches generated with Udio (also half-dead), I created the music with Suno, attempting to blend dubstep, industrial, sludge metal, and hardcore.
When used well, Suno manages to transcend the hideous, glossy standards it was built on, producing elegant and surprising music.
And in any case, dear Sora, per aspera ad astra!
