AFTERMATH

When matter and molecules reorganize themselves from nothingness to reconstitute life through processes each time erratic and whimsical, when they find their place between one great geoclimatic upheaval and the next, half a billion years from now flora and fauna might reveal themselves thus. And if not here, perhaps already elsewhere—on some exoplanet within, or beyond, the Milky Way. After all, the combinations may be as infinite as the vastness of space itself, and so Picasso was likely right when he said, “Everything you can imagine is real.”
